Thanks for the pics!!! No snow in D.C...[re; your comment] silver spring would probably be Harold F.! I heard him pennsic 25 on astrology ...he mentioned something about Moshiach and said something about the beit hamkidash and "bimhairavamenu" and I was like "...did he just say?...where am I?" I was a 'work in progress' at the time and overjoyed an apparently torah jew was at pennsic *at all* - let alone giving a class!
Every 8-10 years or so I catch myself trying to reacquaint with the SCA...posting a few messages on listservs,etc...all along literally *fighting* the fond memories of my non-participant engagements...Torah was the 'best' excuse!...until...MacIvri! As I was saying to a friend of mine, it's so wrong it falls right over into...right. As long as it stays off my 'shidduch' resume...
